Privacy Policy
This document describes how we use and process your personal data that you provide to us when using the services and staying at Family Hotel "At Renaissance Square".
It also describes the choices you have regarding how we may use the personal data you provide and informs you of the ways in which you can access and update it.
1. What personal data we collect and use
1.1. Your name, surname and surname, email address, telephone number, personal ID number/personal ID number for a foreigner, date of birth, sex, citizenship, ID card number/valid national identity document, country that issued the national document.
1.2. Details of your stay, including dates of arrival and departure, floor, room, apartment, number of nights spent. Special requirements, information about your choice of services (including room selection, amenities and other services you use).
2. Why we collect, use and share your personal data
2.1. Fulfillment of regulatory and legal obligations: In the first place we use your personal data in order to fulfill regulatory and legal obligations in accordance with the provisions of the Tourism Act, the Civil Registration Act, the Aliens Act in the Republic of Bulgaria.
2.2. Making bookings: We use your personal data so that we can make your booking and send you a confirmation email; email prior to your accommodation and information on accommodation conditions.
2.3. Guest Reviews: We may use your contact information to invite you to write a review after your stay. This helps other travelers choose the accommodation that best suits their needs.
2.4. Marketing activities: We may also use your personal data for marketing activities permitted by law.
2.5. Other communication: In other cases we may contact you by email, mail, telephone or SMS, depending on what contact details you choose to share with us. This can happen for several reasons:
2.5.1. We may need to respond to or process your request.
2.5.2. Fraud Investigation and Prevention: We may use your personal data to investigate and prevent fraud and other illegal or undesirable actions.
2.6. Improving our services: Last but not least, we use your personal data for the purpose of statistical analysis, improvement of our services, user experience and the functionality and quality of the tourist information we offer.
3. Sharing your personal data with third parties
3.1. Competent authorities: We disclose personal data to law enforcement and other public authorities to the extent required by law or necessary for the prevention, detection and prosecution of criminal acts and fraud.
3.2. Third Party Providers: We may use third party providers (processors) to process your data on our behalf. This process is related to the facilitation of POS payments. These providers are bound by confidentiality clauses and are not allowed to use your personal data for their own purposes or for the purposes of other parties.
4. Storage of personal data
4.1. We will store your personal data for a period that we consider necessary to provide you with services, comply with applicable laws (including laws that require us to keep documents), resolve disputes with each party and to conduct business.
4.2. All personal data we store is subject to this Privacy Policy.
5. What security procedures we use to protect your personal data
5.1. We use reasonable operating systems and procedures to protect the personal data you provide to us. In addition, we use security procedures – technical and physical restrictions on access to and use of personal data on our electronic devices. Only authorized and trained staff has access to personal data in the course of their work.
6. How you can control the personal data you provided us
In connection with your personal data, you have the following rights (some of them may depend on additional conditions specified in the legislation):
6.1. Right of access to personal data related to you – you can request more detailed information about how we use your data and a copy of the information about you that we store.
6.2. The right to request the correction of inaccurate personal data related to you.
6.3. The right to request a restriction on the processing of personal data related to you – in cases where there is a complaint that is pending.
6.4. The right to object to the processing of your personal data – unless there are compelling legal grounds for processing or it is required in connection with legal requirements.
6.5. The right to request deletion of personal data related to you ("right to be forgotten") – where there is no legitimate reason to continue to keep them.
6.6. The right to receive personal data you provided us and which concern you, and to use it again by transferring it to another administrator ("right of portability").
6.7. The right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority or the court in the event that your rights have been violated or you have suffered from the illegal processing of your personal data. The supervisory body for personal data protection in Bulgaria is the Commission for Personal Data Protection, with address: 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., Sofia 1592, Bulgaria.
We ask you to keep your personal data correct and current. If the personal data we store about you is incorrect or inaccurate, we will update or change it at your request. You can request a review of your personal data by contacting us by email at info@atrenaissancesq.com. Please write "Request for personal data" in the "Subject" field.
We will respond to your request within 7 days. We may need to retain certain information for legal or administrative purposes such as record keeping or fraud detection.
